I've been working on this since I first saw the movie which I loved. Natalie Portman was brilliant and everything in the movie was perfect. It became one of my favourite movies ever, I like those in which the inner feelings of a personality are studied, everyone has felt at least once in his life like being a white swan that needs to become in something new, in someone free.
To be honest I don't really like the final result of the drawing, it looks a lot better in real life, but I can't scan drawings and I have to take pictures of them, and the pictures make them look weird, so the real version of this is a lot better. I hate how it looks on the computer. Can you give me some advide to make it look as the real one? What can I do to make it look as the original? In the real one you can appreciate in a softer way all the shadings and on the computer it looks like with a very tough contrast.
I drew this as I listened to Tchaikovski's music, so inspiring.
This is done with charcoal pencils (HB, B and 3B).
I hope you like it and comment about your impressions.
By the way, I know her hand looks way too little compared to the rest of the body but again, that's the problem with taking photos of my drawings, the original has the good proportions but I can't manage to get a picture of this that don't become out of proportion.
